Bring your old t-shirt or other garment and learn to upcycle, mend and overprint it! If you're someone who has no to little skills in mending, upcycling and textile printing come along and learn something new. Places are limited to 10, please book a free ticket.

About the Event


The aim of the workshop is to help reintroduce mending and upcycling practices to the community. Workshop should enable participants consider a wider range of options, when making their garment maintenance or purchasing choices.

Workshop structure:

· The participants get a short introduction about fashion waste, upcycling, and DIY in clothing maintenance.

· The participants start to mend their garments and get to try simple darning techniques.

· Mended garment gets overprinted by participants experimenting with a range of stamps, colours, and DIY techniques.

· Participants get to know simple tricks on how they could apply skills that they just learned in their life without specialist equipment.
